The Teledyne ML®9800A ambient air analyzers are intelligent analyzers designed to provide state-of-the-art features, outstanding gas measurement sensitivity and reliability, and a low cost of ownership. The analyzers in this family provide measurements of ozone, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Special versions of these analyzers, including a carbon dioxide analyzer (Teledyne ML9820), a Carbon Monoxide Analyzer (Teledyne ML9832) and a Nitrogen Oxides Analyzer (Teledyne ML®9841AS) are available for CEMS applications.

• Remote Control and monitoring of any of a set of four analyzers over a single telephone line using our multidrop RS232 data link.
• Optional Floppy Disk Drive - Provides data storage for extended time period and can be downloaded over RS232/modem connection to remote locations.
• Large Alpha-Numeric and Graphic Display - Provides complete display of instrument status and gas measurements.
• Event Log - Provides record of last 20 significant calibration, alarm, fault, or maintenance events. Simplifies problem analysis and resolution, and maximizes uptime.
• Common Chassis - Modular construction with maximum commonality between analyzers. Allows user to minimize spare parts inventory.
• Built-In Zero Air Source - Provides automatic zero correction. Ensures ultimate measurement stability, without additional hardware.
• Optional 12 Vdc Battery Power Supply - Replaces 120/240 VAC power supply for portable or remote applications.
• Fold Down Front Panel - Provides easy access to expendable items such as particulate filters and charcoal scrubbers, optional floppy disk drive, and power control switches.
• Selectable ppm or mg/m3, corrected for temperature and pressure variations.
• Approval - US EPA equivalent/reference method, German UBA/TÜV/UMEG , and CE Mark
